Some people have said that Joeys are too young to take camping, but of sourse this is far from the truth. Admittedly hiking into a campsite with all gear is a bit much to expect, but camping in cabins, tents, or taking part in a sleepover in (an approved) hall, along with a parent to accompany them, is a great way for Joeys to get a feel for the camping experience.
You do not have to wait until you are camping to say any of the Scout Graces, but they should definitely be a part of the camping experience.
